This novel is a witty, modern retelling of Jane Austen's “Pride and Prejudice”, set in the retirement community of Boca Raton, Florida. A meddler, Carol Newman, tries to set up the wealthy widower Norman Grafstein with her lonely mother-in-law, May. May's friend Flo simultaneously clashes with Norman's cynical best friend, Stan. The story follows the humorous misunderstandings until love conquers pride and prejudice.
